I’m Still King Serie

I’m Still King Series is a collection of three paintings that depict the exploration of vulnerability within men, specifically men from the Afro and Afro Caribbean diaspora. There is an interesting dynamic that does not allow them to explore vulnerability safely in its full capacity. Most of the time, life events, an understanding and loving tribe that embrace their authenticity or the growth of the soul. It is not always safe because it can be seen as a weakness. It is not allowed for there other elements that stand above it. 

The delicacy of vulnerability is of the nature we water or flowers and plants. Especially the ones that are rare. We take extra for it because we don’t want to lose sight of its beauty and presence.
